Who she is outside the office

Dawn is highly engaged in her community, having served on the Town of Poland Planning Board, Poland Spring Academy School Board, Sebago Lake Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, and the Executive Board for the Greater Windham Business Exchange. She’s passionate about civic service, mentoring, and supporting access to justice. She recently returned to her Maine roots after living on St. Croix, USVI for several years. Her connection to St. Croix is rooted in both service and community. During her time there she worked for non-profits as Managing Attorney for Legal Services of the Virgin Islands, and later as an attorney for Disability Rights Center of the Virgin Islands. In addition to her legal work, she has developed a lasting appreciation for St. Croix’s history and culture – from the Danish-era architecture in Christiansted to the island’s vibrant traditions and resilient spirit. These experiences have shaped her values as an attorney and deepened her personal ties to the Virgin Islands Community.
